We’re thrilled to announce the winners of our inaugural Homecoming Door Decorating Contest! After weeks of creativity and spirited UCCS 60th anniversary designs, the Students Today Alumni Tomorrow (STAT) Club judges have made their picks:
First Place: Lisa Jones & Kristen LaRoy, Main Hall 201 — for a door that truly dazzled with disco balls, Taylor Swift music, and a QR code leading to a timeline of UCCS mascots & fun facts! We are in our UCCS Era!
Second Place: Brooke Koenig, Cragmor Hall, 2nd floor, door adjacent to lobby — a gorgeous landscape decoration with both Clyde and Boomer represented. The design included live plants and lights!
Third Place: The UC Student life lounge — a design with tons of wonderful UCCS pictures highlighting our student body. It included elements of UCCS hidden throughout the photos!
A huge thank you to all participants for your creativity and bringing the Homecoming spirit to your areas!
